In the first reading, God revealed to Daniel what would happen to King Nebuchadnezzar in the dream he had. In the interpretation of the king’s dream, we realise that all power belongs to God. Every kingdom will come and go, but the kingdom of God is everlasting. Whatever power and authority we possess should be used to serve others. We shall, one day, give account of our stewardship to God who owns all power and authority.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, enlighten the eyes of my minds to realise that all power and authority belong to you alone. Amen
