We thank God for the success of the UK Regional celebration of MSP Day. Traditionally, MSP Day is celebrated to mark the feast of the Patron Saint of the Missionary Society of St. Paul - the conversion of St Paul, 25th January.

The feast day is often celebrated with our friends, supporters, and Associates. Here in the United Kingdom Region, the celebration of the feast has become part of our identity. It is an opportunity for us to express our thanks to the various dioceses: The Bishops, Priests, and laity that we collaborate with.

It is an occasion to invite new friends to participate in the Mission of the MSP. It is a moment to invite people of goodwill to support the training of our seminarians as the need for more labourers is greater. It is a time of renewal for the Missionaries of St Paul. Despite the pandemic, some of the Associates and Friends joined the MSP Priests for the celebration.

The principal celebrant at the Mass was Vincent Cardinal Nichols. During the homily, he thanked the MSP for their services in the UK. Reflecting on the figure of St Paul, the Homilist pointed out that the Damascus experience changed the Mission of Paul from a persecutor to a missionary. He stressed that St Paul was given a sight to see things in a new way, to see things with the eyes of God. In the course of the Mass, the members of the MSP Board of Trustees were inaugurated. We thank all those who joined us for the celebration: all our associates, friends, supporters, and members of the MSP Board of Trustees.
