The funeral Mass of Ms Mary Bernadette Cogan took place at Holy Name Catholic Church, Leeds Diocese on Tuesday 4th January 2022. Ms Cogan passed away on Friday 3rd December 2021 at the age of 96 years.

The funeral Mass which was presided over by Canon John Nunan was attended by five MSP Priests: Rev. Fr. Mark Odion, MSP, (The Regional Superior), Rev. Fr. Jude Iroh, MSP (Parish Priest, Holy Name Catholic Church) Rev. Fr. Festus Ejiofor, MSP, (Assistant Priest, Holy Name Catholic Church), Rev. Fr. Anthony Bassey, MSP (Working in Salford Diocese) and Rev. Fr. Francis Olaseni, MSP (Working in Lancaster Diocese).

Ms Cogan was a friend of the Missionary Society of St Paul, and always supported the Mission of the Society. We pray for the peaceful repose of her soul. The Region will be setting up a foundation Mass for the peaceful repose of her soul.  Eternal rest grant onto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her.
