In the first reading of today, the angel is quoted to have said to Tobias and Sarah privately: “A little with righteousness is better than much with wrongdoing.” This statement was exemplified by the widow in the gospel who gave all she had to live on. The volume, or quantity of things does not always translate to generosity and sincerity of heart. Let’s not be ashamed to bring forth our little as long as it is all we have got to offer. Jesus does not reject gifts from the heart.

PRAYER: O Lord, help me do little things with love! Do not let my status hinder me from being generous.
