Christ’s death and resurrection won us reconciliation with the Father. We are now new and unique creation of God. In return, we have been given the same mission; the ministry of reconciliation with a message of reconciliation. Since we have been shown mercy, and reconciled to God, we too must preach reconciliation and offer reconciliation to others. In other words, we are ambassadors of reconciliation. By so doing, we prove we are grateful to God. Let us embrace our unique ministry and continue to preach the message of reconciliation to a divided world. Today also, we celebrate the memorial of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, a heart full of love for her children. It is in this heart of hers that she treasures all those who call her mother. Like her son, Jesus Christ, she searches for all her children who have gone astray in order to bring them under her maternal care. Her heart is large enough to accommodate our supplications.

PRAYER: Merciful Father, I thank you for reconciling me to yourself by the sacrifice of Christ. Help me to be an advocate of reconciliation. Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray to Jesus for me. Amen
