Some people go through several painful situations and difficulties in life not because of how powerful the devil is, but sometimes because of the magnitude of the foolishness and ignorance present in their lives. Our God is a God of Wisdom and he wants us to live wisely. God wants us to “be wise” in this world. As Jesus was sending out his Apostles, he instructed them: “Behold I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves”. At the end of the preaching of the Prophet Hosea, this is how the entire book is concluded: “May those who are wise understand what is written here, and may they take it to heart” (Hosea 14:9).

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, I ask for your wisdom in my life. Help me to live wisely. Root out every trace of foolishness and ignorance in my life. Amen.
