The Bible has a lot to say about God fighting our battles, and all we need do is to hold our peace. The same words addressed to the Israelites, in the first reading, in their time of anxiety and fear, are addressed to us today. God is never tired of preserving the lives of his children.  He is not only interested in their battles but he is interested in fighting battles on behalf of these children (cf. Exodus 14:14). How should you hold your peace as you trust God to fight your battles?  Psalm 34:7 says: “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.” Fear God and love him. Those who love God and fear him are valuable to him. And if you are valuable to God, he will not permit the evil one to do away with you. Consistently maintain a solid relationship with God. Never give room to fear in any area where you are being confronted.
