This would not be the first time when the scribes and pharisees would fault Jesus for doing what is good. Today, they plan to deal with him for healing on the sabbath. Jesus was aware of the plans of the scribes and pharisees against him, yet he went on doing good. He was moved by goodness. He would sacrifice his life for the sake of goodness. How much and how often we, in order to protect ourselves, shy away from doing good! Today, Jesus shows us the way. May we be drawn to this new way.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, teach me to love the good as you did and to make sacrifices for the sake of the good. Amen
