The responsorial psalm today says: “How good is the Lord to all.” Do we not all experience this goodness of God in our lives, in our families and in the world? Certainly, the men and women who were healed by Jesus in today’s gospel would testify to this goodness of God. The gospel today says that power came out of Jesus and healed them all. It is remarkable that the power of Jesus was meant for the advancement of the good. How often do we not use the power that issues from us for evil purposes

PRAYER: For the grace to dedicate our energy to advance the kingdom of Christ on earth, we pray O Lord. Amen
