St Paul gives us recipes for a healthy and happy community in today’s first reading. He invites us to use our gifts and resources for the enrichment of the community and edification of others. Whatever gifts that God has given to us are to build the community in love, peace and harmony. As Christians in a community, we must learn to help in bearing others’ burden especially those who are grieved because of the loss of their loved ones. Also, we must learn to rejoice and celebrate with others. When we rejoice and celebrate with others, we attract God’s blessings to ourselves. But whenever we frown or are sad about others’ achievements and success, we drive away our own blessings too. Let us learn to practice acts of charity to others.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, help me to learn to celebrate and rejoice with others when they are rejoicing and celebrating, that I may also attract your blessings into my life. Amen
